Case Study Projects
Addressing major issues within the fashion industry was a core element as well. Fashion brands need to take responsibility and work towards a positive solution. These studies surround the brands: Brandy Melville, Zara, and Dr. Martens.
Brand Extension Projects
I have been involved in various projects surrounding extensions of a brand or revamping a brand for a modern target audience. This includes brands: Skims, Vivienne Westwood, Adidas, and Michael Kors. They are all in-depth pitches that have a unique concept.
Collaboration Work
Throughout my years in college, I have worked with many creative minds to bring our visions to life. Teamwork is a major part of the career field I am pursuing and it is greatly valued. The fashion industry has so many working minds to create a final product that is alluring and radiant to the audience.
Work Experience
I have gained crucial skills and abilities at my time spent working at different companies. Excellent communication that allows me to engage on a personal level. Teamwork has allowed me to be more open and learn how to create a sense of community. Computer literacy skills, including social media aspects and target market needs. Organization is key to achieving success and making it an overall smooth process. Lastly, interpersonal communication skills have allowed me to create sturdy bonds.
Design Statement
I want to leave an impact on the industry that shows you don t have to be in the spotlight to achieve success and fulfillment. My end goal is to show the world that even if you do not feel you are “fit” for something or “untalented” there are qualities about yourself you can only unravel when you take that leap.
Educational Qualities
I have all the basic education requirements and continue to pursue education on a higher level. I have been attending Wayne State University for about three years now and it has allowed me to gain a new sense of achievement. There has been a vast sea of knowledge I was unaware of until starting college. I have my high school diploma from a Catholic Private School that focused on college acceptance and am now in the mist of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the fine arts.
